Why do we believe gossips and fear the horses mouth?

It does seem that the serpent visits the doubtful regardless of what sex they are. The forbidden apple is given in whisper. Whispers are wide spread as seeds to its willing advocates. There is no smoke without fire; was it lit intentionally? If what you hear is what you see then it is a fact and no longer gossip.
