Conversation with Lao Tzu

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
Lao Tzu
  • Sometimes ones studied profession stands in the way of finding ones core talent or core personality.
To lead people walk behind them.
Lao Tzu
  • To lead people/country know their past/history. See the future in today's actions and thoughts!
He who does not trust enough, Will not be trusted. Lao Tzu
  • He who does not give his all can not own it all!
Governing a great nation is like cooking a small fish - too much handling will spoil it.
Lao Tzu
  • Neither does the absence of fire cook it! Direction comes from the people or leader, participation "monitoring" also demands same people or leader! Interchanging roles; people give the vision and the leaders monitor, leaders give vision, people monitor, the strategy depends on the situation at hand.
The more laws and order are made prominent, the more thieves and robbers there will be.
Lao Tzu
  • Where there is no freedom people will create their liberties!
How could man rejoice in victory and delight in the slaughter of men?
Lao Tzu
  • So long as he is the one doing it, he feels safe!
It is better to do one's own duty, however defective it may be, than to follow the duty of another, however well one may perform it. He who does his duty as his own nature reveals it, never sins.
Lao Tzu
  • One makes no mistakes in doing their own thing only when one copies others! In your own actions do you find your true self and can retrace if you get lost and the knowledge derived is yours to claim!
