Why is RELIGION causing division among people???

If everyone first studied theology before choosing a particular way of life they would be more committed and less defensive! A religion is a way of life. It really doesn't matter what one chooses so long as they choose to live by it! If humanity existed within every individual would religion be necessary? Faith is a way of expressing the various views of life and if you don't believe in your choice of religion then what others are into will be a thorn as you would be feeling inferior especially if the other is successful in life! It does seem that those who are successful feel less a need to badger anyone with their way of life and are more likely to shy away from being noticed! It begs to ask "is religion for the poor and faithless"? Remember where there are religious fighters there are also the pushers of political and economic gains!
